About Driva
We're new, and we want to tell you all about us
What is Driva?
Driva is a digital car finance platform that helps you compare options from a wide panel of trusted UK lenders. In plain terms, we make it easier to find a car loan that fits your circumstances — without the hassle of approaching multiple lenders yourself.
We’re not a lender. We’re a credit broker. That means we simplify the process and help you find the most suitable option, with personalised rates shown upfront. No hidden fees, and no last-minute rate changes before you sign.
Is Driva a lender?
No. Driva is a credit broker, not a lender. Our role is to match you with the right lender from our panel, based on your profile. Driva Finance Limited (FRN:1039705) are an Appointed Representative of Consumer Credit Compliance Limited who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN:631736). The permissions of Consumer Credit Compliance Limited as a Principal firm allow Driva Finance Limited to undertake credit broking. Driva Finance Limited act as a credit broker not a lender.
What can Driva help me finance?
Driva specialises in car finance — whether you’re buying new or used, from a dealership or through a private sale. We can also support finance for motorbikes, vans, or other vehicles, depending on lender availability.
Can Driva help me find a car?
Yes. If you need help sourcing a vehicle, your finance consultant can help you find a vehicle from a reputable dealer
Is there someone I can speak to?
Absolutely. Our UK-based customer support team is here to help. You can reach us by email (contact@drivafinance.co.uk) or phone (01727 326213) with any questions about your application or loan options. Opening hours 9am - 5pm (GMT+1).
Your Application
How do I get my rates?
It only takes a few minutes. Complete our short online form, and if you're eligible, you’ll see pre-approved loan offers in your Driva Dashboard. These are real rates tailored to your profile, not the generic "starting from" rates you might see advertised elsewhere.
I’ve already chosen my car. How long before I can pick it up?
The process can sometimes be completed within 24 hours, but the exact timing depends on the lender and how quickly you provide the required information. Once approved, funds are paid directly to the dealership, so you can collect your car as soon as the payment clears.
I don’t know which car I want yet. Can I still apply?
Yes, you can apply for pre-approval before choosing a specific car. This gives you an approved loan amount and rate, allowing you to shop with confidence. Once you’ve found the right vehicle, the details can usually be easily updated before the loan is finalised.
Our Lenders & Fees
How does Driva get paid?
We do not charge you an application fee. Lenders will pay us a commission if you take out a loan through our platform. The commission amount can vary, but we will disclose the amount and seek your consent to this before you sign any agreement.
What is a Representative APR?
A Representative APR (Annual Percentage Rate) shows the total cost of borrowing, including interest and any compulsory fees. UK law requires this to be shown wherever a rate is advertised. It means that at least 51% of customers responding to the advert will receive that rate or a lower one. It is one of the most reliable ways to compare loan offers.
What is a balloon payment?
A balloon payment is a larger, final lump-sum payment at the end of some car finance agreements, such as a Personal Contract Purchase (PCP). While it lowers your monthly repayments, it typically increases the total amount of interest you pay over the life of the loan.
Your Credit Score
Does checking my options with Driva affect my credit score?
No. Checking your eligibility and viewing your personalised offers with Driva is a 'soft search', which does not impact on your credit score. A 'hard search' is only performed by a lender if you choose to proceed with a full application.
How do you check my credit?
We use the information you provide to run a soft search with the main UK credit reference agencies. This gives us the same insights lenders use to assess eligibility, without leaving a mark on your credit file.
